This painting is part of a new body of work called Rose Tinted Glasses that aims to prompt the viewer to examine who we view as "good" and who we view as "bad." Subjects in this collection are polarizing, beloved by many and hated by others. What happens when they are washed in pinks and violets? Does it soften them? Does it change your immediate perception? What makes someone good if they have done or said bad things? And is it possible for someone widely viewed as bad to say and do good things?
